Health checks for young athletes
Health checks for young athletes help prevent sports-related health risks and support safe training.

The aim of examinations aimed at young people is to ensure that they can train safely. This is done through counseling and preventive measures, including regular monitoring of the young athlete's health, which allows risks to be identified in good time and sports injuries to be avoided.
Health checks for young athletes are intended for all young athletes who train regularly up to the age of 19 (inclusive)and whose training load is at least six academic hours per week in addition to physical education classes at school.
To access a health check for young athletes, register for an appointment with a Health Insurance Fund contract partner(Opens in new tab).
